If I do run into any I'll pick them up for you.

Also. 9 books is overwhelming. 1 book is not. If it goes well you could always do another one!Trish @ Love, Laughter, Insanityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17225576485797030511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35142878.post-48147627359313416992013-01-27T12:11:02.569-06:002013-01-27T12:11:02.569-06:00I've been wanting to read Maureen Johnson as w...I've been wanting to read Maureen Johnson as well. My kids loved, loved them just to sit down and read. Some of the stuff was clearly above what they could understand but enough of it was within their reach and they loved reading things that allowed them to learn. They also liked DK's book on Pirates (hello!) and that series. Maybe he's just not that into fiction?Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05554217416500328610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35142878.post-63924733717835149332013-01-26T09:02:51.042-06:002013-01-26T09:02:51.042-06:00I'm eager to hear what you think of The Name o...I'm eager to hear what you think of The Name of the Star. It is like Harry Potter but without any killing/death etc. Usborne also has a collection of greek myths that my 5 year old likes.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07309501483266246859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35142878.post-82077889311520631982013-01-25T10:58:30.799-06:002013-01-25T10:58:30.799-06:00So glad Pirate has found something he is intereste...So glad Pirate has found something he is interested in. Thought - have you had his eyes checked for double vision and/or far-sightedness. This is very common in young boys/men, but for some reason, the eye doctors seldom check.

Personally, I think it would nice to read the whole series or the lesser known books.Packrathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02986387347283221427noreply@blogger.com
