A couple days ago Stephanie tagged me for the 8 things about me meme. If you read any blogs at all, you've seen it.
Here are the rules:
1: Each player starts with 8 random facts/habits about themselves.
2: People who are tagged, write a blog post about their own 8 random things, and post these rules.
3: At the end of your post you need to tag 8 people and include their names.
4: Don't forget to leave them a comment and tell them they're tagged, and to read your blog.
So here goes:

So here goes:
- I went to a boarding school in high school. It's called The Alabama School of Math and Science and it's full of weird, nerdy people. (That link wasn't working when I did this, hopefully it's working when you read it.)
- My favorite movie is The Matrix, but I don't really like the sequels.
- Speaking of movies, I don't like to watch them. I don't have a good reason, but it always seems like there is something else I'd rather do. Lately I've been thinking I should try to catch up.
- I don't have any nicknames (unless shortening Lisa to Lis counts) and have always really wanted one. When I played EverQuest I was Lilya, and loved loved loved being referred to as Lil. No one does that any more.
- And speaking of EQ, I met my husband online. We "met" in 1999, saw each other in person 4 times, and then I moved from Alabama to South Dakota in 2002.
- I have a History degree from Auburn University that I do not use and am still paying for. War Eagle, Baby!
- I have an obsession with paper- journals, notepads, note cards, post-it notes, anything.
- I have been out of the country twice. The first time was to Vienna, Austria in high school and the second was to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in January 2005 (when I was 6 months pregnant.) We stayed here. It was like heaven. The next big trip will be Italy, most likely summer of 2011.
It's so good to get to know you a little better, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteMatrix was a good movie--and like you, I didn't care for the two that followed. And I too have always wished I had a nickname.
