ReplyDeleteOoh, gift certificates to Amazon are awesome! Then you can choose between a variety of stuff. And books are always welcome. Hope you have a wonderful birthday!
ReplyDeleteThere's some superstition about not giving knifes as gifts because it will "sever your friendship" or at least that's what my mom told me once.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love gift certificates? I know some people think they're impersonal, but I like them.
Those are cute shoes! Books are always a good thing. Hope you have a wonderful birthday :)

ReplyDeleteHappy early birthday!
ReplyDeleteMy birthday was in April; my mom gave me cash. I bought a new road bike that I don't think I'll be riding to a friend's house for a get-together tonight, due to some ominous clouds...
btw, I read the first and third of your Southern Reading Challenge -- excellent choices. And stay tuned for a summer contest at my place; I think Book #2 would fit the theme perfectly! How's that for slick?
Books? .....You? ;)
