A quilt for me

After making quilts for babies for years, I finally made one for ME. The pictures kinda suck, it won't stop RAINING here, but I can't stop wanting to post the pictures so you get sub-par pictures. It's lap quilt sized, 54 x 45 or so. It's gonna be so great to cuddle up in the chair with this winter.

  1. A quilt to snuggle under in the winter sounds wonderful, and yours is beautiful.

  4. Oh I love the red and blue combo. It looks sooo comfy. I've been really wanting a quilt too. You definitely deserve it and just in time for fall/winter and curling up.

  5. I love the cherry print! I made a quilt 6 years ago, but it is a basic square patch quilt (although it is queen sized!). I handtied it, which was the worst part, so I haven't really wanted to make one since. Do you ever hand tie or do you always use the machine to do the actual quilting?

  6. I always use the machine, which is why this is about as big as it's gonna get. I'd love to make a quilt for my bed but I'll have to pay someone else to quilt it.

  8. Congratulations! ^-^ I sooooo wish I was that into quilt making. I really do like quilts, just not into borrowing the sewing machine and gathering the materials to make one. Oh, and then there is that whole time thing.... Soooo not into focusing on any one task long enough to get it finished. Really too bad. :)
