Good Morning Read-a-Thon'ers!
It's 6 am and I just settled in with a cup of coffee (pre-loaded the coffee pot, yes I did!) and two big stacks of books. I'll be lucky to get one or two read all day, but I need CHOICES.
This first stack is my library stack, minus a few sewing books. There's a nice mix here of YA, nonfiction, mystery and crafting books. Chocolat and the Nora Roberts are both large print so that hopefully I can read while I ride the bike for the 100 Mile Challenge.
I know everyone else posted their stacks earlier in the week, I just got around to taking my pictures last night. I'm hoping to get an hour or so in before the boys wake up and join me.
Game ON!
Lisa, The Hunger Games is calling your name! Pick that one up first!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your YA selections. Enjoy your readathon and happy reading!
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa: I'm a cheerleader for the first time! You're in my first group to cheer for, so, for hour one: congratulations on signing up, and I hope the next 24 hours are filled with books, and people talking about books for you! Mostly, lovely reading time for you. I like your book choices, In The Woods is really good, I've heard great things about The Hunger Games, and read Hunting Grounds! I love Patricia Briggs.
ReplyDeleteOne day I hope to be able to participate to, but my children are too young to let me have 24 hours to read....
I hope you are enjoying being part of world-wide reading event. It's awesome, and I think you are too for being part of it. I love how you are going to bike ride for an hour and keep reading, doing two challenges at once! lol I'm so thrilled to get to cheer you on. I'll be back!
Wow, you are read-a-thon-ing and 100 mile bike riding?? You are a super star!
