In fact, here's a picture from Kauai (Yes, one day I'll post more. See: Laptop bit the dust.)
Look at the picture again.
It's ok, you can ask.
I've been secretly growing a whole new PERSON. Amazing, isn't it? I got to see the tiny little baby this morning, including it's tiny little heartbeat. I'm at 12 weeks, which means I have a REALLY LONG WAYS TO GO, and I fully expect another few weeks of misery before I feel like myself again, but I couldn't wait any longer to spill the beans.
We're really excited about it and the Pirate is over the moon. The Bug has no clue and I fully expect his world to fall apart come September. It ought to be interesting!
One thing though, what do you do when the kids outnumber the parents??

ReplyDeleteYAAAAAY congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteYay!!! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!! And I'm totally glad you are expecting because when I saw the photo, it's the first thing that I thought of. Whew!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteNatasha, I have already been asked! it's crazy.
Congratulations!!! What do you do when the kids outnumber the parents? Drink a lot. ;-) No, I'm just kidding. I actually gave up drinking because I have to stay on my toes at all times now or they gang up on us. ::grin::
ReplyDeleteCongrats! It seems there's lots of baby happenings out there with blog buddies these days! As for the being out numbered thing... some how it all works out.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for you!!! Congratulations! I'm still trying to figure out what to do now that I'm outnumbered. I think that it is a learning process ;) But for the record, I was really worried about how my daughter would react to the new baby but she is doing great with him. So maybe the Bug will adjust just as well.
ReplyDeleteYeah! Hope you feel better really soon. The Pirate is big enough that he will be great help! HUGS
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! And here I thought you just had a vacation hangover. ;-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I had my 3rd this summer. When my son started kindergarten in September it was really nice. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOnce you can handle going from 1 to 2, adding a 3rd is really not a problem. You're already scattered. :-) (We still want a 4th, so 3 isn't all that hard.)
Good luck!! Yay!!!!
I like to think that there is a little reader in there :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I can't wait to hear what the nickname for this one will be.
Yay yay yay yay! I've already told you this, but YAY!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Oh, the kids outnumbering the parents does make for a wild ride and yours are younger than my two older ones were when my daughter was born. Worse yet, they outnumber the hands you gave to grab them! Organization will be key!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Lisa!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Lisa! I am so happy for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've been busy! I am glad you had a nice time in Hawaii.
Congratz Liza. Hope you're feeling better now too.
ReplyDeleteWOO HOO! Yeah. I can't wait to see more of the vacation.
ReplyDeleteI have missed you but understand why you have been absent. Rest up.
Congratulations Lisa! That's a great picture of the "two" of you!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! And going from two kids to three can be a huge transition - it was for us - but it is still so worth it!
ReplyDeleteHo exciting! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! So happy for you.
ReplyDeleteYippee! And look at you looking all cute and pregnant. :)
ReplyDeleteI know I owe you an email--had some unexpected houseguests this weekend (brother, brother-in-law, nephew) and it zapped all my energy--not to mention working Saturday morning where the Internet is inexplicably blocked!
Hugs!!
How wonderful! And BTW, you look so cute with a baby bump!
ReplyDeleteCongrats. You know I am excited for you!
ReplyDeleteThis is gonna be so great!
Awesome news! Congrats!

Congratulations!!!!! I just lurve baby news! =)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the next several months will fly by! I only have two children, so I can't give you any advice about having more kids than adults in your family. All I can say is good luck! LOL. I'm sure you'll do fine. xoxo
Congratulations!! We're in the same boat and exact same stage - how exciting! Hope you feel better soon :)
ReplyDeleteYay Lisa!!! Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteVery exciting news...another little one to read to and buy more books for!! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, hope you had a wonderful time in Hawaii! And that you're feeling better soon!
Congrats!! Hope your trip to Hawaii was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great post. I just had one of the ‘Doh!’ moments and ran back to correct my own site before publishing my comment. You see my own comment form did not match what I’m about to advice. I get less comment than you, so never noticed any problem. I’ve changed it now anyway so here goes.

Congrats!!! So happy for you and was also happy to see this post!
ReplyDelete!!! Congratulations!! I can't wait to see your progress and what the new little one looks like. And what his/her nickname will be. I'm sure Pirate and Bug will love the new addition.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! I'm very happy for you...
ReplyDelete!!!
ReplyDeleteHoly smokes, congratulations!
I've heard from parents of 3 kids that you enter a sort of a zen state when you hit 3. You don't have man-on-man defense anymore, but somehow you're okay with it. :)
Now if I could just get up the guts to have #2...I think I'm too selfish with my time but I know I'll turn 50 or something and wish I had a 2nd. But I just can't convince myself to do it now...
Oh my! Congratulations, how wonderful!!!! You look great. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! We're excited, but it is really cutting into my spare time! I can't wait to feel better.
