- We woke up to snow. I am ready for sandals.
- We moved two weeks ago. The house is mostly unpacked with one glaring exception- my sewing.
- I took some boring pictures of the apartment, I'll share them soon. Nothing is decorated, just unpacked.
- The Princess does not need sleep. She doesn't need naps and she doesn't need to sleep at night.
- She is also learning to crawl. She's mastered rolling to where she wants to go and moving from lying to sitting.
- Pants on Fire by Meg Cabot. I am returning it unread. The writing quality seems really simple after all the smart YA I've read lately.
- Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. Loved it all the way to almost the end. Then I kinda fell a bit out of love with St. Clair. I could explain why, if you've read it. It was still very lovely and I really enjoyed the boarding school in Paris aspect.
- Faefever: The Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning. Picked this one back up and, unsurprisingly, am still enjoying it.
- My Reading Life by Pat Conroy. Am also returning this one unread. I suspected, and Jill confirmed, that he was about to spoiler all those books I planned to read one day.
- All I Ever Wanted (Hqn) by Kristan Higgins. Cute, I'd read more by her.
- Liar by Justine Larbalestier. Just started this one yesterday in the school pickup line.

I agree COMPLETELY about Meg Cabot.
ReplyDeleteAlso, those are the CUTEST pictures of the Princess. Love that little dress and tights.
You can keep that snow! The Princess is too darn cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures - what a cutie! I'm sure hoping we've seen the last snow of the season...
ReplyDeleteAh... springtime in SD.
ReplyDeleteThe Princess is kissably sweet!
My son never napped and it also seemed like he hardly needed any sleep. I thought something was wrong with my daughter because she DID nap and sleep at night, LOL!
Look at that FACE! She is the cutest thing! How do you get anything done? I would just sit and snuggle with her all day long!
ReplyDeleteAdorable little girl! And ugh about the snow. We've having cold, rainy weather today, but at least no flakes (for now...).
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that none of you have noticed her giant snot bubble!
ReplyDeleteKim, aren't you only a day or so (weatherwise) east of me? (I'm in Pierre, SD)
I am so hoping the winter is over and done with!
ReplyDeleteI would lose my mind if I saw one more flake of snow. OMG.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads-up on My Reading Life! (I just checked it out of the library today.)
Were the boys excited to see snow again or are they as ready for warm weather as we adults are?
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how big she is!! And I'm starting to get really sad that I won't see you this summer. Come to Dallas? Ha!--yes, I realize you have THREE kids and I only will have ONE.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the snow. I'm not sure if I'd take our 85+ degree weather (complete with humidity) or the snow.
She is getting SO big! (Love the snot picture by the way) And if it makes you feel any better it has been raining/sleeting here all day with a few snow flurries thrown in. I'm ready for sun!
ReplyDeleteAww adorable!!! And the snot bubble is cracking me up. She's so cute :) P.S. We got that sleep thing you recommended so we'll see how that works with our little one. Yay!
ReplyDeleteLOL, snot bubbles are just part of the deal. Those tights are SO CUUUUTE!!! She's growing up so fast. Cutie tooter!
ReplyDeleteCute pictures of a daring girl.
ReplyDeleteSnow is a way of life these days. It's only 32 here today.
Unpacked, wow! Sending an email.
