Wow, 2010 already?!

2010!

I hope everyone had a great New Years, had a little fun and stayed out of trouble! We spent the weekend in a cabin with 18 or so of our nearest and dearest. In spite of a little bit of the flu, we all had a great time. I'll post some pictures of the amazing sledding the kids did later, as well as the 4 feet of snow, but for now how about a picture of how Baby Bugs play Wii? (Look closely as his controller.)

I've played with all my reading stats for 2009. I've chosen my best books of 2009. I'm working on my goals for 2010. I'm spending a little time thinking about blogging in general as well and how it impacts my life and what I want to prioritize. I'm planning to make myself a little blogging schedule to keep posting more regular both here and on the made by lisah blog. I've got some goals to talk about. I've have something like 8 books to review. I'm inspired to keep up more this year, and comment better (not likely more, but more thoughtful.)

So, look forward to all those things in the next couple of weeks. I'll probably space it out some to give myself time to come up with more content, but I'm hoping for some consistency. I have 1000+ posts to get read in my Google Reader, so some of you may see my New Years wishes some time in February, but I'm hoping to at least skim them all. Even if I don't stop by and say it, here's to the best possible 2010 for you all!

  3. Men and their remotes :)

I haven't put much thought into my 2010 blogging habits but I have been thinking about my reading habits and I plan to be a bit more choosy this year. More classics, more of what I want to read. That's it!

And how fitting is this...my word verification word is READe.

  9. That is too cute!!! My daughter does the same thing except I have to take the batteries out of one of the controllers so she doesn't mess up whatever my son is playing :)

  11. Fab photo :) And a happy new year to you all! We saw in the New Year playing on the Wii. Littlest was asleep, but Oldest definitely had some fun!

Haven't had any time to think of any blogging goals or resolutions. I'm just desperately trying to get everything organised. Around the house, with my coursework. It's been a struggle so far this year!

  12. It took me a minute to see the remote. Adorable!
That reminds me of last year when the kids got Rock Band, and the then 5 year old, who couldn't play, had a 'dance' version that she performed behind the drummer. The colors meant something in her head, and she had moves for each one, and then she would 'fail' out and have to take a break. It was so cute.

    Happy New Year!
