I thought I could read twenty-seven books in the next month?!

As I've mentioned (ahem) we're moving soon- in less than a month if all goes as planned. I've packed up most of our books, but of course left a few out to read while we (I) pack. In fact, I keep 27 books. I usually read less than a book a week, so I'm not really sure what I was thinking.

Here's the list of the 15 I kept from the library. Clearly these are the priority, since I can't take them with me. Two of them are half read (as noted) but what do I read after that?

Yikes!

And for a complete list, these are the ones I kept off these two lists:

A wee bit ambitious during a move, wouldn't you think?

  1. BAHAHAHAHAhahaha!
I've been blogging through 2 moves now and generally average 2 books a week. Looking back at my records, the month we had a long move (across half the country) I read exactly 2 books. During the month of the recent short move (8 miles and we did it in small trailer loads spread out over several weeks) I read 5 books. Need I say more?

  2. Probably by child #3, you can live without the breastfeeding book. I nursed over 2 years without reading any. :) I can't believe how much you read. During any downtime I get, I just sit like a zombie at my computer.

  3. I would definitely read the Adele Faber book on Talking So Your Kids Will Listen... I found it very helpful. My favorite was say it with a word. It really works, even when they grow up.

Good luck with the move. I have been there too.

  4. You were going to read 27 books in a month with the life you've got right now? Aren't you the optimist!
