Trick or Treat!

Trick or Treating should be a drinking game, no? A Kit Kat? Take a sip. A bag of mini- M&Ms? a drink. Someone else in your costume? A drink. A Tootsie Roll? Drink nothing or you'll be drunk before you make it around the block.

Anyway, here's the required pictures of my cute kids.
 Ballerina
Vampire

No one knew who the Bug was, no one. And half the houses said, "Oh look how cute she is!" referring to the Bug, but he LOVED it. Here's what he looks like in the movie:

We had a pretty small haul, by my standards of my youth, but the boys are in candy heaven.

Back later with another post, I think, should the children cooperate today!

  1. Judging from the number of parents I saw with open cans of beer and plastic cups parading around with their young'uns, I'd say that the Trick or Treat Drinking Game was in full force yesterday.

    At least in my neighborhood.

  2. They look great! I had to look up Astroboy as well. Pirate makes a very scary vampire! ;) And I can't believe how big baby girl is.

I'm so disappointed in the amount of kids we got. We live on a cul-de-sac and only 2/5 of us had our lights on, so I'm guessing kids didn't think it was worth it to come down our street. Next year I'm going to have Scott make me a graveyard for the front yard and lure the kids in that way...!

  3. Seeing The Pirate as a Vampire is jarring to my senses. I just expect him to always be a pirate. LOL.

I posted my pics o FB. The Girl was a vampire too but was missing so many teeth she couldn't hold the fangs in!

  5. As long as The Bug was happy, that's all that matters! They all look darling!

  6. Darlings, of course. Hmmm. Might have to have a sip every time someone knocks on the door... Next year with hot chocolate to keep me warm.

Actually, I got the Astroboy. I think Bug looks just like him. I have no idea why, because I know nothing about him.

  9. How beautiful, the three of them :) I have no idea who Astroboy is, but the expression on his face is just gorgeous!

  10. Cutest trick-or-treaters ever! Great idea making Princess a ballerina. She's super adorable. xo

My teen was a black cat and my youngest was Blossom from the Powerpuff girls. Her two best friends were the other two characters. Costumes made by yours truly. :)

    It was a fun day!
