It's Monday, What are you Reading?

So this morning I woke up and thought that this would be the week that I participated in things! Let's see how long that lasts, shall we?

I'm starting with "It's Monday, What are you Reading?" because I feel like it's been too long since I talked about my books. I am a book polygamist, and have no problem at all swapping titles midstream, so I typically have 2-4 books in progress at any time. In no particular order:

Part Time Cowboy by Maisey Yates.  Holy Hot Batman! I'm only about half done but already know I'm happy to have the next installment lined up from NetGalley.

Salt Sugar Fat: How the Food Giants Hooked Us by Michael Moss. I tried to read this one when it came out, but it expired before I really got into it. Since I just finished the 21 Day Sugar Reset, it feels incredibly relevant. (At least the sugar parts, haven't got to salt and fat yet.)

Phantom Evil by Heather Graham. Katherine insists Graham can do better than The Dead Play On and I had to find out. I really love books set in New Orleans, and this one IS better. So far.

So what are YOU reading this week?

  2. Salt Sugar Fat is one I'm curious about too (duh) and also the Fed Up documentary. Maybe I'll watch that one this week while Scott is gone.

Also--yay for participating in things. You're funny.

  3. I told you Graham could do better! Her books aren't flawless by any means but to me at least they're fun enough to make up for the problems. Yates is an author I've been wanting to try. Glad to hear you're enjoying that one. I'm staying away from Salt Sugar Fat. I like all 3 way too much.
