Book Around the States
THIS IS NOT A CHALLENGE! Bonnie is compiling a list of books for each state in the US (ok, for Bonnie, it is a challenge. It is not for me. I will not be on the lookout for books to fill spots.) Other people are tracking Canadian provinces, and there is one challenge for Around the World in 80 books. I am not doing those. Or even keeping an informal list. There is no time limit, no amount to be read, just a little list to keep up with. Who am I to deny the fun in this? I'll just keep my list over here.

Just keep repeating: This is not a challenge, this is not a challenge, this is not a challenge....LOL!! Glad to see you are doing NO MORE challenges, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteYes, I like it. Let's call it a list.
ReplyDeleteMy problem (addiction) with this challenge is that I want to submit a ton of books to Bonnie. I have already submitted four. She must be getting sick of me. I will try to restrain...
shush. I've been to your blog. You're worse than me! (but you actually get books READ)
ReplyDeleteOops, jill slipped in there with a completely sane comment. See Wendy, it's JUST A LIST.
ReplyDeleteNot a challenge. Noooo.
No, no, Jill, do not restrain yourself! Submit lots of books to our list, and we'll have lots to choose from.
ReplyDeleteChallenge, list ... call if whatever you like. I simply want to find books about the various states. That one about DC looks very good, too.
That "Around the World in 80 Days" is MY challenge that I started on the Oprah boards. We've been discussing books there since July 2006. Take a look at it here:

See what you did Lisa... I've submitted LA books too :)
ReplyDeleteHehe, how could you not? I'll go check to see what you listed. I should come up with some SD ones.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a great challenge! Wish I had more time to read (I ALWAYS say that in your comments, don't I! I live vicariously through you!) :)
ReplyDeleteHaley, I recently had to force myself to take time to read. I am a happier person when I have time for books, and a much better mom, because I'm not a grouch. (Or not as much of one, anyway.)
ReplyDeleteI imagine if I were 29 weeks pregnant and had a two year old, that I would read much much less!
