Vote! Vote! Vote!
I'm going to get all political and tell you who to vote for, it's not my place to make your decision for you, but please, go vote.
I took the boys to vote with me. I thought that it was a good experience for them to see people standing up to choose their leaders. He was very very well behaved, and we only waited in line about 20 minutes.

I told the Pirate we were gonna vote for the "best person for the job!" When he reported back to daddy, Mike asked him, "so who was the best person for the job?" and he said "MOMMY!"
So feel free to do a write-in if you can't decide.

I'm getting ready to go vote now. I'm taking a book with me in case the lines are long.
ReplyDeleteI just took my daughter with me to vote. Glad it went fast so that she didn't get impatient :)
ReplyDeleteI am going to wait until after school so that I can take The Boy.
ReplyDeleteI voted by absentee ballot. I just cannot concentrate with the kidelets in tow but their school is a polling place and they are doing a mock election today.
ReplyDeleteJust found out today that I am registered (didn't think I was), but under my maiden name and former address. I'm going to head to the precinct anyway and hope for the best--especially considering I don't have any ID that has my former name on it with me and don't have time to go home after work. Boo. But I'm really excited that hopefully I'll be able to vote afterall!!
ReplyDeleteMy 9 y.o. DD was very disgruntled that she can't vote yet, lol.
ReplyDeleteBut, yes... I voted! I'm in NH, so our polls close soon...
