Things have been crazy around here lately, which means I have a hard time focusing on any one thing. I thought you might be interested to see how this translates to my reading. The following is a list of books that I have read at least one chapter in the last week or so and that I completely plan to finish.
Forget You by Jennifer Echols
Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen
The Anti 9-to-5 Guide: Practical Career Advice for Women Who Think Outside the Cube by Michelle Goodman (past due, but I can't renew it again and really want to finish!)
The Forty Rules of Love: A Novel of Rumi by Elif Shafak
NurtureShock: New Thinking About Children by Po Bronson and Ashley Merryman
Dead in the Family (Sookie Stackhouse, Book 10) by Charlaine Harris (one week hold almost over, I'm on page 81)
Dakota Home (Dakota Series #2) by Debbie Macomber (no, have not read book 1)
It seems like I'm missing something.
How about you? Do you read more than one book at a time? I can't remember a time in my life where I only had one book started.

I am NEVER reading one book at a time. I can't even imagine!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you mentioned "Forget Me" because I've been meaning to pick up a copy.
One chapter in each? I have about 50 pages of The Glass Room to finish. I started The Passage. I started The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. I am working my way through Wuthering Heights. I started my book club book, Zeitoun and a young adult book that I think is called Falling. I could be wrong.
ReplyDeleteI always have several books going at once. Right now I have Emily Giffin's new book started, along with the latest Julie Buxbaum, The Irresistible Henry House, The Lotus Eaters, All of a Kind Family Uptown, and I will start Matt Pena's book tonight. (I am also hoping to finish something, too!). You just never know what you might be in the mood for.
ReplyDeleteGood list! I read a good review of NurtureShock online somewhere, but for the life of me can't remember where. Good luck finishing!
