Why is it that I can think of so much randomness during the week but on Friday morning it all slips away?
The Bug discovered the joy of riding his bike this week. Yes, he needs a helmet. That's on the list for this weekend.
Last night I read the first chapter of Screwed Up Life of Charlie The Second by Drew Ferguson. I started to tell you my reaction to it here, but realized it really needs it own post. Stay tuned for that, especially if you're a spammer cause I'm sure there will be LOTS of nice search terms in that post!
I'm planning to do a little recap of what I've read in the last few months as well. Obviously I'm never going to get around to reviewing them!
I am so glad that BEA is over. I'm sorry attendees, but I didn't find it very interesting on this end. Maybe next year you should plan to not overlap your posts so much? It was a lot like reading about a giant blog tour where everyone read the same book.
Our basement flooded on one end last Friday night, right before camping. Cross your fingers that this weekend is much more boring, will ya?
Have you been following my Etsy Item of the Day posts over at the Made By Lisah blog? You should- this week we had a quilt, a rusty truck, a wooden camper and a beautiful tree. Once I finish this post I'll be searching out something to post today. I'm really enjoying being "forced" to do a little online dreaming every day.
My birthday is one week from today. This statement has nothing to do with the previous bit of randomness.
What's new with you today?

Happy early birthday!! Bug is getting so big!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I know what you mean about the BEA posts. I really wanted to go, and I got a little tired of being reminded how much I was NOT THERE. :D
ReplyDeleteAndi, I almost felt rude posting that, but it's true, it was just too much for those of us at home. I hope no one said anything earthbreaking because I admit to skimming a lot!
ReplyDeleteLove the Strider, they are the best! Lisa-Would you like me to watch the boys on Thursday night so you and Mike can go out to dinner for your b-day? I will be gone on Friday and Sat! Let me know! Love ya.
ReplyDeleteHappy early birthday! Love the pictures of the boys! I managed to miss the BEA posts, what with moving and unpacking, which is probably a good thing. I;m planning on a much needed boring weekend too.
ReplyDeleteI hope your weekend has been boring so far. Bug is so cute! An early happy birthday to you!
ReplyDeleteBug is so cute! I feel dumb but what is BEA?
ReplyDeleteIt would be so fun to go to BEA and the Book Blogger Convention. But for those of us that didn't get to go, it sort of feels like I'm reading about what the popular girls did this weekend while I sat at home by myself. I'm hoping to go next year--I've got to remember this feeling when I start to think about posting about it.
