What is this thing??
See, I thought this was a spoon rest. An item you'd set a dirty spoon on while cooking for ease in cleaning the kitchen later. The person who does the cooking at my house seems to think that you should never ever dirty this thing, and instead put your sloppy spoon on the edge of the sink or in the middle of the stove. I suppose I should not complain, as I am not the person who does the majority of the cooking, but we even have TWO of these things. They are completely submersible! easy to wash! lonely without a job to do!
I will not mention the four steps from the end of the counter to the sink, and the cereal bowls that do not move themselves.
(Hi honey! I love you! Do you even read this thing?)

I bet that even goes in the dishwasher!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I'm with you. Spoonrests are meant to rest spoons upon.
ReplyDeleteI use mine all the time and then don't know what to do when it's in the dishwasher for a cleaning. We've started a no-dishes in the sink mission and so far it's been working out pretty well. Except when the dishwasher is full of clean dishes. Apparently I'm the only one who knows how to empty it. Just like when my other folds laundry mine never gets put away because he doesn't know where it goes. But honey, I wonder, how do you think I know where YOUR stuff goes??
ReplyDeleteI hate when my spoon rest is in the dishwasher...lol
ReplyDeleteToo funny! I wonder why he won't use it?
ReplyDeleteToo funny! My hubby has a tough time with the concept of the spoon rest, too. When I cook (and use it), he then never manages to be able to wash it. Really they must be invisible to the male eye.
