- Guys, we either made a brilliant decision or an awful one last week. We installed EverQuest on our laptops. Mike and I met playing EQ online 13 years ago. We've had a ton of fun playing again, but even more so, The Pirate and The Bug LOVE it. There is an entire post in funny things they say while playing. The awful part- it really is EverCrack, we are all addicted again.
- Speaking of the Pirate, his front two teeth are loose. They have been loose for months and he pushes them forward with his tongue and now they are almost horizontal. It is not a good look. This week I noticed you can see the edge of his adult teeth showing behind them. Now I spend my days saying, "wiggle your teeth, wiggle your teeth, wiggle your teeth."
- I have the next three weekends off work. I'm trying to get Mike to take a vacation so we can have family time. Wish me luck.
- Mike has lost something like 45 lbs since his fake heart attack in May. He has had consistent "normal" blood sugar readings without any metformin for over a week. This is so awesome and exciting to me, and I couldn't be more proud of him.
- This is how he rides his exercise bike, when he doesn't go to the Y. You can see how that would lead to a great workout.
- You still have a few days to enter my 1000th post giveaway for a $10 gift certificate and an e-reader cover.
- Head Over Heels by Jill Shalvis. Yep, my favorite so far.
- Lucky in Love by Jill Shalvis.
- Forever and a Day by Jill Shalvis. (Just barely started, advance copy from Net Galley) This is the last of the Lucky Harbor books and while I'm enjoying the hell out of them, I'm looking forward to more variety again.
- Dinner: A Love Story: It all begins at the family table by Jenny Rosenstrach. I love this type of book.
Yay for Mike losing all that weight! I hope y'all get some family time in.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your husband on his weight loss! Way to go!
ReplyDeleteHa! I love this. Congrats to Mike on the weight loss, and that is a SERIOUS workout! :)
ReplyDeleteHave fun playing EQ!!!
45 lbs!! That is a lot to lose! He looks great!
ReplyDelete45 lbs is fantastic - and really great that he's off the Metformin! I didn't know (remember?) that you guys met gaming. My son and his friends all played World of Warcraft and we called that World of Warcrack. He did, actually, become seriously addicted to it - he's skip meals, never leave the house. And never even managed to met the love of his life!
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest picture of Mike and the kids! Hopefully you guys can take a little vacation and relax :)
ReplyDeleteJust ordered Dinner: A Love Story form the library! Shawna
ReplyDeleteCongrats to him on the weight loss and fitness! I haven't heard of Everquest, but I'm always keeping an eye out for cool games for my kids. I'll have to check that one out.
