Kindle covers, Shriners, Lucky Harbor

  • Don't forget to join Trish, Kailana and I in our new weekly meme called Where in the World are you Reading. This month's topic is "Local Bookstore" and you can link up here. Kailana posted her post yesterday and you can look forward to mine next Thursday.
  • Be sure to come back tomorrow for a very special post here on Books. Lists. Life. I'll be giving away 1000+1 things!
  • I love love love this post I found on Wil Wheaton's tumblr. Warning: There are boobs, but unless you are insane it's completely safe for work and kids.
  • I've been sewing this week, working on getting some E-reader covers in the shop. I should have my first batch posted next week, so be sure to check back.
  • We went to the Shriner's circus on Wednesday. It was fun, but not FUN! It was also expensive. I'd post a picture for you, but the Bug has appropriated my phone this morning to play Plants V Zombies.
  • Tonight is date night! The Princess has a 101 fever! Which one will win?

What I Read This Week:

  • Simply Irresistible by Jill Shalvis (my thoughts here)
  • The Sweetest Thing by Jill Shalvis (review to come)
  • Head Over Heels by Jill Shalvis, still reading this one, probably my favorite so far tho. I have two more to go after this and then this will no longer be the Jill Shalvis fan club blog.
  • What I did NOT read this week: The Stand.

  1. I hope the Princess is well enough for you to go on your date!

  2. I didn't read The Stand either :/ I did re-check it out from the library though if that counts :)

  3. Much to my children's chagrin, I hate the circus. They are expensive and I was always afraid that one of the high wire walkers or motorcyles in the cage was going to plunge to their death right in front of my kids. Really I swear I'm not a glass half empty kind of a person, but I spent the entire time there tense about that!
