But First, Coffee.

  • I'm totally going to make that shirt into a sign in my kitchen.
  • Well that was a nice autumn. South Dakota just doesn't do moderate temps well.
  • If you were interested in purchasing a fall bag like this one (which sold!), you can see the upcoming fabric choices here. You can also follow new releases on the Made by Lisah facebook page.
  • If you are a teacher or aide or school librarian, will you please tell me what kind of teacher gifts you love to get and which ones makes you roll your eyes? I mean, I'm as crafty as they come and some of the crafty gifts make me gag. You can email me privately if you don't want everyone to know you said it. (Bookslistslife@gmail.com, of course.) PS. I really don't want to give money, but if $10 is better than something else, I can do that.
  • I am struggling with motivation to get up and get stuff done this week. I think it's because Trish isn't here to make me. Or so I tell myself.
What I Read This Week:
  • I'm making decent progress on the list
  • Death Masks (The Dresden Files, Book 5)by Jim Butcher. I might try to finish this up tonight.
  • The Handmaid's Taleby Margaret Atwood. Scary. I can't make myself read it before bed, so I'm only about 2/3 done.
  • Sullivan's Womanby Nora Roberts. Holy Crap Nora! This is AWFUL. I can't remember reading a romance novel this awful in 20 years. I'll finish it (normally I bail on awful stuff), but only because I can't believe this is a Nora Roberts book. (yes, it was published 30 years ago, this is why it is awful. Romance novels have come a long long way.)
  • Summer Days (Fool's Gold, Book 7)by Susan Mallery. Ok, not on the list. I only read two chapters though!

    1. I used to always give gift cards to Vance's teachers because I didn't know what else to do.

    2. I love your fall purse! I've been searching for a nice purse/diaper bag combo. Finding one that meets my needs has been harder than I thought. I sure wish I was crafty like you! Looks like you are reading some good books. I have stalled with Lolita. I need to get back to it. It's always a bad sign when I'd rather listen to the radio than my audiobook. LOL
