  • I hate when you see a great quote on Pinterest but it isn't credited to anyone.
  • Today is the last day of the Christmas Romance novel giveaway. Your chances of winning are EXCELLENT. Get to it.
  • Have you blogged your Christmas Reading Escape yet? Link up here.
  • The Bug had his stitches from the biopsy removed yesterday. I am so SO thrilled to have that done and gone.
  • Christmas sewing..oh man the Christmas sewing! I am SO proud of a couple of them, but you can't see them until after Christmas, sorry!  This weekend we're doing salt dough ornaments and I have to break out the Mod Podge. Plus more sewing. Speaking of, any suggestions on what to sew for a 12 year old girl? I've already done the usually suspects for her. I was going to do a makeup roll, but mom says she doesn't wear much yet.
  • Pinterest users!  I need a fun, cute, CHEAP Christmas treat for the Pirate's class next Friday. Last year I did those snowmen mashmallows. What have you pinned?
  • The boys are all going to see The Hobbit tonight. I think the Princess and I have a hot date to Walmart planned. Pierre is so thrilling.

What I Read This Week:
  • Erebos: It's a game. It watches you. by Ursula Poznanski. This one was odd. I thought it was interesting but there was a disconnect between the writing (translating?) style and the plot. It was a smart plot (that I didn't buy) but the dialogue and action sequences were very juvenile.
  • Under the Mistletoe (A Lucky Harbor Novella) by Jill Shalvis. It was nice to revisit the Lucky Harbor gang, but novellas are just too short, this one wasn't very satisfying.
  • Together for Christmas by Lisa Plumley. This is my first by this author and I'm really enjoying it. Very straightforward characters, likeable but not without flaws.

  1. Good luck with the Christmas sewing. I can't wait to see what you've made.

I pinned some reindeer cookies. They look really cute. I've put the link below.
