  3. Very pretty pinks! Don't know how you can resist making them into shapes. I saw your comment on batiks bleeding. Batiks are washed over and over in hot water to get the wax out. I've never had one bleed, but I use high quality, such as Hoffman 1895 batiks. I use my batiks interchangeably with other fabrics, mixing them all together and don't pre-wash anything except an occasional red, navy blue or black that I test and find a bleeder. Put a test swatch - 2 inch square or scrap works fine, in a jelly jar in hot water with a drop of soap, swish it around a minute or so and then let it sit for 10-15 minutes to see if there's any color in the water.
