Hexagon update #11-2014

 

This week I worked on the white filler hexies. It's hard to tell but there's a couple different mostly white prints in this pile. I'm going to have to spend some time with the cutting mat soon, and some time at the fabric store.

1694 down. 1236 to go.

  3. I agree some variety is needed when working on "filler" shapes! Both to save us from the monotony when basting and to save the quilt from monotony in the end. The trick for me is not to get so excited by variety that I lose the "neutrality" of the fillers.
